Join in the Cricut “Jubilee”

With a font that covers the alphabet from A-Z, all numbers, common punctuation marks and traditional symbols, as well as popular phrases and icons, the Cricut Jubilee cartridge offers beginner or advanced Circuteers a new way to express themselves. Exciting new elements include the unique Flag and Village features that add a very special touch to any project.

The Jubilee font has a slim, Art Deco appearance that can enhance the sentiments of every scrapbook page or personalized gift with flair. I especially like the extra full round capital letters and the slight tilt to the first leg of some that added a playful touch to each word and phrase I put together.

My first project with the Jubilee evolved from a reunion photo my dad kept for years. This treasured picture showed him with three of his best college buddies at a "Roaring Twenties" party, dressed in period garb with joyous smiles. When I saw the Jubilee font, I knew it was perfect for expressing their celebratory feelings. After getting the photo prepped, I selected a light blue framing paper. Then I placed the names of his dear friends under the photo on the frame in dark blue. At the top, the unique Jubilee font spelled out "Still Kickin' Up Our Heels" in silver for their twenty-five year reunion. I enhanced the Jubilee title lettering with a couple of martini glasses at each end in dark blue and a festive bunch of balloons at the bottom on either side in red, the colors serving to represent Dad's college football team. Finishing off the look, I used the year Dad graduated on the left and the year of the reunion on the right, both placed vertically in white for the inspiration he found in the friendship of his buddies. With Cricut Jubilee, making my Dad a special reunion memory gift was a snap!
