Life’s a Beach Cricut Cartridge Review

"Life's a Beach", Cricut's newest shape cartridge from the popular graphics designers Rob and Bob was released in time for summer. It has layers, title words, a border, a photo card, a square card, and a charm presets.
The palm trees, hula dancers, beach critters, boats, and tropical plants are perfect for scrapping some pages with your beach vacation souvenirs and photographs or decorating your daughter's invitations for summer luaus.
If you like to make action scenes on your pages, you can jump the shark, swim under the waves with the mermaid, and hang ten with the surfboard. If that's too strenuous, select an umbrella and a beach chair, surround it with tropical flowers, put polka dots on the teeny-weeny bikini and relax.

The "Life's a Beach" font is blocky and casual, as if it were made of scraps of old boards you found on the beach. "Life's a Beach" will be useful and fun addition to your collection of cartridges.
"Lyrical Letters" is designer Cecelia Harris's latest Cricut font cartridge release. Lyrical Letters has 7 font styles from formal to girly-girly, and useful preset words and shapes. The pre-set decorative phrases are: Way2Go, Happy B-day, Best Wishes, Thanks, Love U, Spring, Happy Holidays, I'm Sorry, Thinking of You and the always useful glue words "From, To, the, and". There are a few decorative shapes, such as a birdie, a banner, a Christmas ornament, hearts, flowers and leaves.
The cartridge includes these seven fonts:
"Capital" is a low key, simple calligraphy font that will make great informal invitations and announcements.
"Connected" is a rounded handwriting font with letter connectors. It's not flashy, it's reliable and legible.
"Loop Dee Loo" has an amusing "the way girls write when they are 14 and in love" ornate loopiness to the capitals and teen-age rounded lower case letters. It was made for making slumber party invitations.
"Jack Sprat" is a tall, long-legged font, casual and skinny. It's the gawky teen-age boy font companion to Loop Dee Loo.
"Jumbo" looks a lot like a muscular Courier font. Casual and high-impact, it will make emphatic announcements and eye-catching posters.
"Italic Monoline" is a sleek business-like font with prominent serifs. It should be working diligently in the office on your break-room posters and announcements.
